KoW was started as a clan in Tony Hawk's Underground 2 online. It was created by Pasq and Xisle to allow almost every one in, good or bad, depending more along the lines of sportsmanship, or how much we liked you. The name KoW was meant to mean, "Kings of War," and was soon changed to just mean "KoW," like "CoW" with a C. However, that was just silly, and the meaning altogether was just dropped. The original meaning, "Kings of War," wasn't used because of its lack of relevance to the Tony Hawk series.

Soon after start, we recruited around 126 people into the clan. We were the biggest clan in the game, and we had someone in virtually every room in every lobby. It was quite a bit for Pasq and I to manage, so we started to drop people off the bottom, to maintain all the more skilled players while getting rid of the better ones.

Over time we came to be one of the best clans in the game, and there were actually clans dedicated to killing ours. Luckily, we maintained our status, but we slowly began to diminish, and our main worry was recruiting members. Overtime I got tired of the work and dropped the clan to wait for Resistance: Fall of Man to come out so I could make the clan in that game.

Apparently, after I left the Tony Hawk series, the clan continued to live on in Tony Hawk's Underground 2(I the clan run itself a couple months into Tony Hawk's American Wasteland). The clan continues to success today.
